80.20 km - Total so far 2,111.10 km - Route pedalled. Relive Video (with pictures)
Video of the day: Europe Day 38We are safe and secure at Gasthof & Camping Krenn in Willersbach, Austria.
We had an early start at 8:15 AM because we had 72 ish kms to cover.
Leaving Linz early on a Saturday morning was a lot easier than what we experienced when we came in on a national holiday.
We had a really nice ride this morning. We rode along the Danube, we passed through villages, through woods, through fields and we even had the chance to back pedal and add 8 kms to the ride because the ferry won’t be operating until 20 May.
We are kind of glad we had to backtrack because that gave us a much nicer view of town of Grein.
The thing we proud of is that today we finally got to cover 50 kms before noon. When crossing Canada that was always our daily goal. Catch the moment in Hélène’s video.
Tonight we have a water front view of the Danube and we get to see all sorts of boat traffic sail by. The sun is shining brightly.
We have gotten over the missing ferry by posting about it on Facebook EuroVelo group.
